What are some common IT interview questions you’ve actually been asked?
I’ve been preparing for IT interviews recently, and one thing I’ve noticed is that there’s a huge difference between “popular questions online” and what actually gets asked in real interviews.
Most websites list the usual stuff, but I’m more curious about real experiences.
For example, I keep seeing questions like:
“Tell me about yourself”
“What are your strengths and weaknesses?”
Basic technical concepts
But I’m wondering:
👉 What questions have you personally faced in IT interviews?
Were they:
More practical or theoretical?
Focused on projects or concepts?
Different for freshers vs experienced roles?
Also, did anything surprise you during the interview that you didn’t expect while preparing?
I feel like hearing real experiences might be more helpful than just reading generic lists.
