Currently active duty USMC with less than a year on contract. I reached out to Army recruiters and they spoke to me about a conditional release. Does anyone have any experience going through with this? Looking for a way to transition seamlessly without any gaps after I EAS.

I am currently active-duty USMC a year out from EAS. I am looking to get more information on potential SkillBridge opportunities within the BMET field.
I am in the 28xx field so I feel this field change makes sense.
I am very interested in gaining hands-on experience in this field through SkillBridge. But would like to hear others thoughts (that are in this field) to see if they believe BMET is good long term career and how their skillbridge went.
As well as if SkillBridge participants are commonly considered for full-time roles after program completion
I am early in my planning process and want to make sure I am choosing the correct path as my time to apply gets closer.
Thank you for any information yall can provide.
