Now on soft foods

Hi! I just wanted to reach out and see if anyone has any tips on what to prioritize when you fully switch over to soft foods. Or if anyone wanted to just share their experience. This morning I had one egg and one sausage and I was able to get through most of the egg and then later I had a string cheese. I think I’m doing pretty good, but still feel like I need to eat more.

Has anyone else experienced peeling patches? I was getting ready for bed and noticed some on my stomach and under my breast. Is this normal? I haven’t heard anyone really talk about it.

I’m a graduate student at a UCLA and prior to the surgery, I couldn’t comfortably pull the little desk they had attached to the chair over me. It was extremely uncomfortable and made me feel so embarrassed when I looked around and saw all my smaller classmates being able to fit. I’m 16 days post op and have lost 24 pounds and the desk fits comfortably! I almost cried in class when I realized I didn’t have to struggle any more.

I am on day six of my sourdough starter and it has stopped rising. Day five there was no rise and I think I had hooch on top, so I fed it 5 and a half tablespoons and missed with water to get a thick consistency. What should I do?

Hi everyone, I’m 11 days postop and I chugged my water and caused early dumping syndrome. However, I noticed that my dumping syndrome symptoms have gone away, but now I’m left with intense itching and I wanted to ask if anyone else has experienced this. If so, what helped with the intense itching?

Hi everyone! I wanted some advice on how my starter looks. I believe I am day three or four into making it. I’ve been doing about 5 tablespoons of King Arthur unbleached flour and eye balling how much water I put in, just so I can get a thickish consistency. I attempted the float test and it did not pass haha.
