I want to sell my 2012 Kia Sedona with 112000 miles. I was planning on selling it to CarMax for around 1k given it's not in the best condition. But recently my battery warning light and parking brake light came on because one of the diodes died, but the alternator is still working. However, the alternator must be replaced to replace the diode for the lights to turn off. Should I spend the $700 to replace the alternator and sell the car for about 1k, or try to sell as is? I don't know how much it would be worth.
