The old owner of our home used wooden garden edging to border the rock part of our driveway and it has since rotted. We got concrete edgers to replace them and I was wondering if y’all had any tips for installation? I started putting them in, but it feels off. Should I dig another inch deeper so it’s more level with the rock driveway? Should I put sand underneath? The rock driveway is higher up than the side yard so it makes it kind of difficult.
Disclaimer: we are moving within a year so it doesn’t need to be perfect, but I also don’t want the next owners cursing at our failed projects. Thanks for helping this newbie.
Also, regarding the second picture, I will push the rock up close to the pavers. Just deciding if I should go deeper with the pavers before that.
