I bought this house four years ago and this plant has slowly been growing in my front flower beds since. The previous owner had cut it to the ground and it’s only grown about 7-8 feet in that time and is quite leggy. When it was small, I thought it may be some type of rose based on the leaves but it has never bloomed. I’m not sure if this is a bush lacking sunlight or a very slow growing tree. I’m trying to determine if I need to dig it up and move it so that it doesn’t damage my 175 year old fieldstone foundation. I’m in Central New York, zone 5a. Thank you in advance! 🙏
