We're booked to sail on Sun Princess at the end of this month.
We've cruised twice previously with RC, but this is our first Princess cruise and our first time travelling together with others - 3 couples in total and we all have the Plus Package.
We're hoping to secure a booking in Crown Grill for the 6 of us - I know not guaranteed possible but we'll be giving it a try to make a reservation once we're onboard and we're fairly flexible on day/ time so fingers crossed 🤞
Anyway, my question is how does it work in terms of billing for that meal as I know there will be an upcharge plus gratuities payable since we're not on the Premium package.
Do they just swipe all of our medallions in the restaurant and add the extra charges to each of our accounts?
Do you sign off on a bill at the end of a meal, and if so is it a combined bill or how does it work when we're all on different reservations?
Also, I presume we can still order drinks covered by our Plus package while in Crown Grill?
Sorry for all the questions, I'm probably overthinking this!! I've sorta taken on the role of chief organiser with this trip since the others are first time cruisers and just want to have an idea of how the speciality dining works in this scenario!
