Shiftmaze: Push the maze, move your pawn, find the exit

Shiftmaze is a single-player puzzle game for iPhone built around a simple loop with layered decisions. On each turn, you first push a row or column of the maze, then guide your pawn through the new layout. The goal is to reach the exit while working around limited turns, dead ends, moving path structures, and run-specific hazards.

This beta is focused on the core solo experience before broader feature expansion. I’m looking for feedback on:

  • puzzle readability and whether board states are easy understand
  • difficulty curve and whether level progression feels fair
  • clarity of turn flow: push first, then move
  • general polish, crashes, performance, and device-specific issues
  • how the ad experience feels in context and whether it stays non-disruptive

Current beta scope:

  • portrait-only iPhone build
  • single-player only
  • deterministic puzzle runs and replay flow
  • TestFlight build intended for soft-launch stabilization
