So I did a thing! When I purchased my home I didn’t love the kitchen due to the design clashing (busy countertops with busy backsplash). I lived with it for about 5 yrs before I didn’t anything to it. I don’t know why it bothered me so much but I removed the upper cabinet 🫣. I tiled up to the ceiling and added open shelves.
