So my friend being dumb as he is decided to grab 5 packs of cards from his local Walmart and then he went over to the fruit section, he swapped every sticker. He scanned them and payed. Well a lady checked his receipt and noticed it said all lemons, of course the worker was confused and charged him full price. So they got the manager and from why my friend said, they followed him out, he got in his car and the manager wrote down his license plate number. Well my friend went home and he received a visit from a police officer and the officer basically said “listen since you were honest and told me what you did, you’re not in trouble, the store isn’t pressing charges and you aren’t banned, BUT you are on their radar so don’t do that. That’s forgery.” So my friend is mostly curious if he is gonna get into any legal trouble if he hasn’t already. He did end up paying full price for the items so he technically steal or anything. So please help me and my friend out please!
