I currently have 1 280hz 1080p monitor and want to get a new monitor and use this one as a side monitor. I juggle from cs2 and working with 3d models, circuit board design ect. I really like my samsung 37 inch 4k monitor at work but its only 60hz and i like fast paced playing in cs2.

My current monitor has gsync and i use it but its not a must to have on the new monitor.

What i see is that i can either go for Samsung Odyssey G7 LS37FG756EUXEN which is 4k 165hz or a 1440p 240-500hz OLED

Will the 37 be to big for cs2 and will it be a smoothness downgrade to go from 280hz to 165hz instead of up?
