I remember preciously little about this coz I think I read it like 15 years ago.

I know there's a house, and it's haunted by an evil spirit. I think(?) the protagonists are children, and potentially ghosts themselves (??) and were themselves killed by the evil spirit when each of them were living in the house at different times (???) but I dont remember exactly.

The one thing I remember super super clearly is that the house had like. An ice cellar. And part of how they defeat the evil ghost is they lure it into the ice cellar.

Please let me know if this rings any bells coz its driving my insane
