Struggle with showing rather than telling in story after 6 year hiatus.
I like reading and have honestly always enjoyed the thought of writing my own stuff, but I've never been able to. Fear of ridicule held me back for a while, but now I've realized that it doesn't matter so long as it makes me happy. I tend to struggle with showing what's happening in the story rather than telling, so I was wondering if anyone had any tips or advice?
