What's your favourite face sunscreen? My baby face stings no matter what I try
First of all, does anyone else experience this? When I put sunscreen on my face, even the expensive lightweight dermatologist recommended sensitive skin bs, it doesn't hurt at first, but when the sun, my sweat, and the sunscreen mix, it causes a horrible chemical reaction that feels worse than a sunburn.
Nowhere else on my body has this problem.
The only thing I've been able to use is really expensive moisturizer with SPF 20 (not high enough for how much time I spend outside) or fully zinc based, which makes me look like I'm auditioning for a remake of the grudge.
I figure the skin on my face is just extremely fragile with a barrier that easily breaks down under the chemicals found in a lot of skincare.
So if you have this problem too, and you've found something that works please send it my way.
Edit: I'm in Canada, so ideally recommendations would be available to at least ship here :)
Edit #2: Thank you everyone for all the wonderful suggestions. I'm going to test a few and see what works best for me. I can report back with my experience if anyone is curious to see how it turns out.
