The swelling is starting to go down because the stitches are dissolving slowly. I feel good, I no longer have any pain, just some sensitivity around the stitches. I can walk more properly now and close my legs! I feel like I’ve passed a big step.
Hi everyone! I’m 13 days post-op.
I no longer have any pain, just some discomfort when I move too much, but I’m still being very gentle and careful with it. What you see in white is Cicalfate +, and the red or yellow threads are my dissolving stitches. What do you think at this stage? I still have a lot of swelling and some lumps (it should go down once all the stitches have dissolved)

I have these little hard balls/lumps under the skin — do you think they’ll go away? Am I gonna end up with holes or is it looking okay?
If anyone has dealt with the same thing, could you please reassure me and tell me how it went for you?
Hello! Today is my ninth day post-op, using the wedge technique. I’m feeling much better today — way better than the previous days. I’m much less sensitive, and I can wipe myself properly by gently patting, without being scared of hurting myself or feeling too tender.
I’m quite swollen today, but I feel like it’s starting… gently to settle into place.
Here are a few pictures I took today after my shower, after putting a little bit of Vaseline on the stitches so they’re less tender… and so they don’t rub into the wounds.
For those of you who also had the wedge technique, could you tell me a bit more about your recovery?
