Moved to NoVA a few years back and was shocked how many people just replace appliances that need a simple fix. Washing machine not spinning? Usually the lid switch or drive coupler — both under $25. Dishwasher not draining? Nine times out of ten it's the drain pump. Most appliance parts are available same-day locally if you know where to look. Big box stores carry almost nothing — but specialty parts stores usually have the common ones in stock. Happy to help anyone figure out what part they need if you describe the symptom. What's your appliance doing?
