I live in Illinois but his family lives in Tennessee except for his sister that also lives in Illinois. The teen is 16 and ended up staying in my care after his sister took off on us at the end of January of 2025. My home needs some major repairs after getting hit by a flood last year. Im forced to live out of my garage while I make the repairs this summer. I tried contacting his family to tell them I can no longer take care of him. They all refused to take him in. Im at a lose on what to do for him. The repairs probably wont be done till next year due to money and time needed to do everything.
