In Shelter Cove today. Last January did route from SC to Ferndale to Mattole Beach and back to SC by way of Honeydew back to 101. Skipped the option to take Wilder Ridge Rd south directly to Briceland Rd. Can’t recall why but feel like I read at time it was too rough and 4WD required. I’m in the same ‘24 Hyundai Ioniq 5 (AWD) that I was in last year. Is Wilder Ridge out of the question?
