Norwegian here. I’ve been into Italy for years, and lately I’ve started thinking seriously about trying Sicily for a while.
Not as a tourist — more to see if everyday life there could actually work.
I work online, so internet matters, but I’m more curious about the real feel of the cities. Palermo, Catania, Siracusa, Trapani, Ragusa/Modica — where would you start?
Also curious to hear from Italians/Sicilians, not only other foreigners. What do you think a Norwegian would misunderstand about life there?
