Didn't even get pass the screening

I had a private job interview and was rejected last Friday. I had also had an onsite screening, and received an email saying the are looking at other candidates, etcetc. I know the rule of thumb is to keep applying, but I am feeling so defeated.

I signed up for an AFCS career fair and submitted my resume for interview consideration. I was contacted yesterday and was scheduled for a 15 minute "information exchange session" for 2 positions. (one entry, one mid tier). Has anyone been through this, or know what I can expect? My understanding is that the info exchange is fed language for an interview. I am preparing a condensed elevator pitch and behavior questions, but not sure what I should focus on. If anyone has any insight I would appreciate it!
