I am seven months post op from a robotic hysterectomy with BSO, and my recovery has gone well overall. However, as of about 4 to 6 weeks ago, I started noticing my urethral sponge moving closer to the bottom edge of my vagina. By now, it is about a quarter inch past my vaginal opening when I’m standing, and retracts upward slightly to be flush with the opening when I contract my pelvic floor. Is this a prolapse?

I have a referral request in for a urogynecologist, but I’m having a bit of a freak out so am reaching out for information based on others’ firsthand experiences.
