I cleared the OA for an Amazon SDE-1 FTC role in India and completed my first interview round around 25 days ago.
Before that interview, the recruiter had asked me to share availability for possible future rounds as well.
In Round 1, I was asked a stack/string problem. I got the core approach right but made a small implementation mistake and corrected it after an interviewer hint. Then we moved to leadership questions.
Since then, I haven’t received any update from the recruiter.
At one point Amazon’s hiring assistant showed “under consideration,” but now I don’t see the application/job on my dashboard anymore.
No rejection email either.
Has anyone experienced something similar? Does this usually mean rejection, waitlist, or just recruiter/process delay?
