Salam everyone,

I (25M) am from Asia, and my fiancée is from Morocco. We’ve been in a long-distance relationship, I’ve spoken to her family, and next month I am finally flying out to visit her and start the marriage process!

I am traveling on an e-visa. I want to make sure I have all my paperwork perfectly sorted before I fly out.

Could anyone who has gone through this recently (or understands the Moroccan family court system) help me out with a few questions?

Home Country Documents: What exact documents must I bring from my home country? (e.g., birth certificate, police clearance, proof of income). Do these need to be legalized by the Moroccan embassy/consulate before I arrive?

Proof of Religion: Since I am not from a Muslim-majority country, what kind of official proof of my religion will the Moroccan authorities accept?

Capacity to Marry: Will I need to get a "Capacity to Marry" certificate from my embassy in Morocco, or is there a different process for this?

The Timeline & Process: What are the step-by-step procedures once I arrive? I know it involves the family court and an Adoul (Islamic notary), but how long does this realistically take?

E-Visa: Will getting married while entering on a standard tourist e-visa cause any administrative hurdles?

Any advice, recent experiences, or recommendations for dealing with sworn translators would be hugely appreciated. Shukran!

Hey r/dubai,

I handle the main grocery runs for my house. Between shopping for my mom and sister, plus my own gym prep (the sheer amount of eggs and bananas I go through every week is crazy), our grocery bills add up fast. We used to stick to Carrefour or Lulu just out of habit, but recently we completely shifted our main haul to Nesto.

Honestly, it takes the top spot across the board. The variety is massive, the fresh produce and hot food sections are top-tier, and they carry all the premium international brands without the ridiculous markups. I used to think the other two were the only real options for a big household shop, but the sheer scale and quality of Nesto's massive hypermarkets completely won me over. It’s basically a premium experience, but the checkout total for our staples is always noticeably better.

Curious if anyone else has fully made the switch to Nesto lately?
