I had a pre employment medical for a fifo job and I think the drug and alcohol screening flagged something as they came back and asked if I take benzos or sleeping pills. I said no but I was prescribed some for a one if occasion at the start of the month. I’m surprised that it showed up on my test as I did the test 9 days after I last took a Valium. Anyway, this is wha I responded and my prescription was date 3rd April for 5 days and my medical was 12 days later

4. I was prescribed a short 5 day course of diazepam on the 3rd of April. This was not part of any ongoing treatment, and I do not require any current or regular use of benzodiazepines.

Am I likely to still pass the medical? Would they class my benzo result as a positive or negative even though I initially forgot to declare it at screening? But now I’ve provided the with a script
