Outie Labia - Do men care?
My boyfriend made a comment about a girl he used to hook up with having “roast beef” (I was pressing him about it in a jokingly way) and it honestly got in my head way more than I expected.
Like logically I KNOW vulvas all look different and that “roast beef” jokes are immature, but I’ve always been kind of sensitive to hearing guys talk about women’s bodies like that. So hearing my own boyfriend say it made me immediately wonder if he judges me too.
The thing is, he’s very attracted to me, affectionate, obsessed with me physically, etc., so I don’t think he secretly hates my body or anything. I genuinely think it was more of a dumb careless guy comment than malicious. But ever since then I’ve felt weirdly self-conscious during sex and less comfortable. I guess im asking
Am I overthinking it because it hit an existing insecurity? Is this something worth bringing up again or should I let it go?
