someone has my motorbike and unsure how to go around it ( england)
Afternoon reddit. before anyone says that im a moron or idiot i know. but i some advice. i sold my bike a couple weeks ago and the night i sold it i drove a hr there to sell it. i got some cash and the rest transfer. because of the time of night i couldn’t recieve the money because of a “scam”. i left the bike in there possession however i kept the V5 as soon as i left i knew i messed up so ive screenshotted every single chat. eg proof he still owes me money. proof that the bikes still technically mine ect. he’s made it very difficult to organise me just getting the bike back or paying me. and now he’s “sold” the bike for way less then he owes. his reasoning is because i still have the V5 and that stuff needed to be done on it. i also am not insured on the bike so unable to report anything to my insurance. what should i do report the bike as “stolen” or small claims court? Btw i cannot get any family involved because they’ll go about it the wrong way
