Skin changes after stopping T

So I was on testogel for 3 years, three pumps a day, but in late 2024 I had to stop due to money problems. I have been off t since then and recently I have noticed my skin texture changing, it has become dry and crepe paper like in texture. This seems to be a gradual change but one ive been more aware of recently as its making me feel awful about myself. I want to know if by now my hormone levels should have returned to normal and if this change is likely permanent considering how long ago I have stopped taking hormones. It is causing me significant stress and I have booked a drs appointment just to see what is happening but until then I cannot stop being worried or concerned about my skin. Pre T I never had problems like this.
Any advice is greatly appreciated 👏
