This is my first time posting, but I am facing an expensive decision soon.
I have a Canon EF 100 that needs an image stabilizer repaired to the tune of $600+. It also has the old mount to my 77D but I have recently updated to the mirrorless R7. So if I repair it I will still need to buy the adapter. When I used the adapter for my 600 Tamron there was a significant delay. There is no way to see if the macro lens will have the same delay until I pay for the repair.
My alternative is to just have my local camera store keep a look out for a used lens with the mount for the R7.
Does anyone have any experience in this? Thanks.
