Hi guys,
I’m trying to learn French verbs (especially with their structure including prepositions like à / de / quelqu’un / quelque chose), but I’m extremly overwhelmed with all the books I’ve found so far. I need the prepositions to decide between COD and COI but also en and y!!
I am currently learning with a book called 'les verbes et leur preposition' but it contains several different structures for just one verb.
So wanted to ask you guys, if you know any books that:
- focuses only on the most common/useful French verbs
- shows just the main structure(s) I actually need (not 5 variations I’ll never use)
- clearly indicates things like à qn, de qc, etc.
- is practical and modern (not literary or overly formal)
Basically something efficient, like:
→ verb + most important pattern + simple example
Not a full grammar encyclopedia.
Does anyone know a book like this or something close?
Appreciate any recommendations
