FTM, our baby was born 4/19. She started to lift her head a little bit while still in the hospital (only when we were doing skin to skin or burping position). Yesterday she started to rotate on her side. We swaddle her to sleep and she stays on her back, but sometimes I put her into her bassinet without swaddling and in a couple of minutes she’s on her side. So my question is, isn’t it too early? Is there a medical condition that could be involved? I asked the doctor and he said that every baby is different and ours is just strong and ready for all of it. But I mentioned it to my friends and they said there might be something with her muscles or something and it scared me.
