How should I fuel during marathon training/marathon itself?
Currently training for a marathon in October, and have never tried out fueling mid-run. I was wondering what I should start out trying, and how/when/how often? Not too sure how I feel about gels just bc of the price, and was wondering whether candy is good enough.
For reference, I ran a half marathon 2 weeks ago in 1h48, but didn’t fuel at all throughout and felt fine (but definitely tired by the last 5-6kms).
