I've had mt Victus for nearly a year now and I've been wondering why the battery absolutely sucked even when not playing games as it would eat up 20-30 watts unplugged even in the lowest power modes, turns out NVidia automatic overclock tuning keeps waking up my RTX 4050 so turning that off helps massively, also I recommend changing the preferred GPU in NVidia control panel from auto to iGPU and then set all your games to use the dedicated GPU through settings, after doing these settings I managed to get down to 6.5 watts idle power draw so I highly recommend doing this if battery is an issue as I now get 8+ hours of YouTube watch time
