Soft/hard sand
I've had this dream where everything in my peripheral vision is just sand-like material. It pulses between soft and hard form. When it is soft I feel that it is "manageable", I don't feel anything positive in particular but it's better than its other form, the hard form and I know it's coming. With every pulsation- say 30 seconds? 15 seconds?, (who knows how time works in dreams) -there comes the sudden transition, the sand becomes hard and sharp and coarse. The "solid" form makes me feel like all hope is lost and there's nothing I could do to prevent it from appearing again. Another pulsation comes, soft. Then another pulsation comes and it changes form suddenly, to "coarse". I don't really know how to express it fully but this has been a recurring dream for over a decade now except I haven't had one in a while. Have anyone else had a similar dream and/or what do you guys think about the meaning (if there is one) this one may entail?
PS: I've fed this text into gpt to in hopes of generating an general visualization of the dream that may give guys atleast an idea of the dream but it doesn't come close. The visual's more of a desert type vision/video that covers your entire peripheral vision in a much more macro scale that "pulsates".
