Anyone know more about this guy? He's the Boise County Commissioner accused of stabbing a teenaged girl who was with her mother and brother on the Payette. Lindstrom was with a group of men on jetskis and the family was rafting. Boise County Prosecutor Alex Sosa has been sitting on the case for eight months and has finally referred it to a special prosecutor. The whole thing reeks in my opinion, and I can't see how a bunch of dudes on jetskis felt so threatened by a family (again, a woman and two children) on a raft when they could so easily just zoom away. He's also accused of holding the knife to the mother's throat and beating the boy in the face.

There are lawsuits: https://cdapress.com/news/2026/apr/18/county-commissioner-is-alleged-to-have-stabbed-a-girl-at-payette-river/

And there's also an investigation into corruption: https://www.boisestatepublicradio.org/news/2026-04-23/lindstrom-attorney-general-public-officials-allegations
