hi all.

I know for some of you this may sound stupid question, but has anyone been able to use the provided by YF eero 6+ on a different ISP and if so, what are the disadvantages?

For over 2 years I've been with YouFibre and never had any issues, not until 3 days ago when I got suspended right after they took the payment.

The thing is that in December my 24.99 contract ended(without the 2 weeks notice they promised on their website and when installed), so I had to pay 39.99 which is somehow ok, let's say it was my mistake for not checking the endless subscriptions and BS I'm paying for.

Anyway, I managed to get in touch and sign a new contract, everything was okay until I got 2 bills, one for 24.99 and one for 39.99, for which I went back in touch and they told me that somehow their system opened 2 accounts for my address(one contract and one PAYG) , ok I said, can this be fixed, as I'm obviously with one account, one fiber, one router, they said they are removing the PAYG account and everything should be fine.

Well, 3 days ago I got suspended right after I paid my bill, I opened my app and tried to get in touch, but surprisingly it didn't allow me until I pay almost £70 for god knows what reason.

Today I've been on the phone for hours, no answer, submitted urgent tickets, nothing.

Thank god after passing around the house I managed to get someone on the phone, it turned out that this bstrd who said that will close my PAYG account didn't and I ended up in debt.

Quick update: it turns out that I owe them 24.99 for February, which according to my bank statement is another YouFibre nonsense, as I've paid for it, it's a pot from which they are taking every month and always have at least £50 in it. Okay, I said to an angry lady with an Indian accent, let me pay them money again as my job is from home and I need the internet, she sent me a link, I've paid and now my account went from deactivated to Paused for some reason... Again in the loophole of waiting and biting my nails...
