I think Mythic skins are a really bad business strategy, and I think Blizzard started to think the same
If you release a cosmetic item that is of higher quality, with sounds, voice lines, customizable , special ability effects, and which you can get with the battle pass or at any time in the store (not counting the 2 seasons of waiting since it came out), why would i ever buy a legendary skin again if its worse that the mythic that i already have? Im a main lifeweaver and since i got his mythic, I haven't bought a legendary skin again. I was tempted to do it like I did with the Diablo collaboration skin, but I always end up thinking, "Why spend money on this if the Mythic skin is the same but better?" I think Blizzard realized this and slowly started deliberately making Mythic skins worse so that people would keep buying Legendary skins.
