I have had apparently an untreated yeast infection for over a month, and have now recently treated with 3 fluconazole in the last 12 days. I still have burning pain inside and in my butt and have now noticed that in the morning, I feel less burning nerve pain but after I go pee and have a bm, my pain activates and never goes away. I don't know yet if my yeast infection is gone - I go to gyno tomorrow and I'm asking for another swab test. I'm on Lyrica and tramadol for the pain, but it does not work very well. I'm supposed to increase the Lyrica each week until I don't feel pain, but with 25mg 3 times daily, it is not helping at all. The tramadol does. I'm going to ask for compounded amitriptyline/gabapentin cream tomorrow too. I don't think it's necessarily pelvic floor caused, even though it does come on when I go to the bathroom. I don't seem to be especially hypertonic when I feel around. I've had PF therapy in the past which has help tailbone pain, but I'm not sure it will help this nerve pain. Anybody else have this after using the toilet? Any advice appreciated. I am losing hope that this will ever go away. I can hardly leave the house unless I'm medicated on pain meds.

I was prescribed Keflex for 5 days but just got results that a negative culture came back. Dr. at urgent care started me on Keflex from the urine sample right away since it showed leukocytes and trace of blood. My gyno said to stop them now since the culture was negative, while Dr. at urgent care says to take all 5 days. I do have a yeast infection and sooo much vaginal pain, like a 10/10. I'm supposed to do another round of diflucan, but wonder if I should finish antibiotics since it might make yeast worse. Conflicting advice from practitioners so not sure what to do.
