▲ 10 r/Resume

So, I had been unemployed for four months and decided I needed to update my resume before looking for a new job. I can say right away that I used several methods: I wrote my resume myself using free tools, and I used AI to create a second version of my resume. I applied for jobs over the course of a month and received only 3 responses out of the 50 resumes I sent. I thought I should review my resume and realized that it really did look weak. After that, I found a resume writing service and decided I could make the investment (it sounds funny, I know, but at the time I really thought it was a good investment).
The problem is that I chose a 10-day deadline, and now I’m waiting for my resume with the feeling that it’s a waste and I’ve wasted my money. Do you think I really wasted my money?
