How to fix gap between hearth and built-in shelving.

How to fix gap between hearth and built-in shelving.

Any suggestions on how to seal this gap? 1970's house where the stone hearth has settled and now there is a 1-2" gap and a small void under the shelving. Pretty sure at least one mouse is coming and going through the hole.

Spouse wants to use concrete caulk, which seems fine to me, but would grout work better?

CT Calcium scoring in patients with prior stents or CABG

Hoping some cardiologists can help me out. Are there evidence-supported reasons to do CT calcium scoring in patients with known CAD and stents?

As far as I know, CTC is a screening test to help evaluate the risk of future coronary events. Every once in a while I get one for a patient with stents, and my thought is not only it is not a reliable test since you can't accurately segment all of the calcium, but how would it change management?

So, I have been playing fingerstyle guitar for the last couple of years, and I am happy with how I sound, for the most part.

I started learning flatpicking about 2 months ago, and although I have made good progress, I still don't think I am good enough to go to local jams. Playing rhythm is more difficult that I expected, especially up strumming and quickly switching full chords.

On top of that, I spend a lot of time listening to the masters of bluegrass guitar, and I don't think I have a realistic idea of how most people sound 8 weeks in.

Currently, I am working my way through Jack Tuttle's bluegrass primer. The single line flatpicking and even crosspicking aren't that difficult.

What should I be practicing so I don't embarrass myself the first time I show up as a beginner to a bluegrass jam. Are there recordings I should play along to?

Any advice is appreciated!
