My beautiful chud son (Male Plakat Koi Betta)
Got him as a really tiny pale baby from a fish store. He’s colored up a ton since I’ve been feeding him bloodworms. Used to keep him with shrimp, but he got a taste for shrimp flesh so no more colony. Miscalculation on my part because I honestly thought he was a female with how timid he was at the store.
He has plenty of limpets, scuds, and other small critters to snack on but once he figured out that the tweezers give him juicy worms I haven’t seen this guy hunt once 😭
