how can i get my little lady to be less skittish?

I love my lil lady to pieces and I wanna know if theres anything I can do or if this is more a personality thing? Ever since I got her--which was from a local pet store and she looked so freaked out when i saw her, but SUCH a sweetheart I had to get her--shes been very skittish around people. I dont have too many good pics like everyone else here has because she gets out of her comfy position any time i get up 🥲

Ive had her for about 2 or 3 years now, shes gotten a LOT better than she was before but she still has some issues. Since moving to my own place, they have the entire apartment to themselves now and I think thats given her some confidence since they only had my bedroom before. She approaches me for treats/snacks like its no problem now, and slowly shes become more chill if im walking around, while before if I even got up from the couch shed hop back in the cage or skitter under the chair. I want to do whatever I can, Im just unsure what else to do as I spend as much time with them as I can but it feels like she still isnt entirely used to it.

She'll let me pet her as long as I approach her slowly and on HER terms lol and I dont take it personally because she gets plenty of love from my boy anyways, I just wanted to see from other bun owners if theyve had little ones like this?

I also think Im so used to my son who I got from traveling 3 hrs in the middle of no where to an amish farm for him and hes got zero survival instincts. Chillest guy youll ever meet, but a LOT of attitude lol (peep my boy in the last pic)

appreciate any suggestions!! :)
