2015 impreza sport premium, 5spd with 83k miles on it.

i went to get my oil changed yesterday, and the shop does a complimentary inspection, which is nice. they gave me a rundown of issues that they found, but the cost they quoted to get the most urgent things was $4100. i cant really spend that kind of money in one go right now, so im looking for advice on what order i should take care of these in.

tires are gonna be first, since ive been meaning to get those replaced for a while now. wanted to downgrade to 16" rims and get more sidewall on the tire so i can do a bit more "off-road" driving to campsites and stuff (not actual off-road driving). but with this news i think i might have to postpone the rims and just get new tires and focus on more urgent mechanical repairs.

"requires immediate attention"

  • Torn control arm bushings affect vehicle handling and stability. They need to be replaced immediately to ensure safe driving and prevent further damage to the suspension system.
  • Passenger side valve cover is leaking and ignition coil at passenger rear is oil soaked, recommend replacing both valve cover gaskets as matched set with ignition coils and spark plugs along with cleaning and adding dye to system.
  • no oil on dipstick (but my oil light never came on). so i think im either leaking or burning oil.

"may require attention soon"

  • Recommend replacing shocks and struts as a match set based on milage and performance for proper operation.
  • Tires need to be replaced
  • Air filters (cabin and intake) need to be replaced at next oil change
  • Brake fluid exchange. No record per Carfax, service due. Brake fluid should be replaced every 3 years regardless of mileage.

what would be your guys' plan of attack for these? thank you in advance.
