So i finally decided to undervolt/overclock my card. Settled at 0.945mv at 3000mhz. I increased my scores in 3dmark and temps are better but while testing in cyberpunk I saw that in GPU-Z i was getting occasional power limit warning.
So to test it fully i went back to the benchmarks, in steel nomad without the undervolt the power limit warning turned to constant but I am nowhere near the 450watt maximum. It is usually around 380watts. I tried to overclock without undervolt up to 3200mhz which it sits at around 3150-3180 in the benchmark the max I ever saw was 428watts. And this is with constant power limit warning.
I heard furmark is pretty good at pushing the power to its max but also cant hit 450W there.
I also heard there were issues with the drivers so I got the latest drivers after using ddu. No change after that.
So what I am asking is, is it normal that I get the power limit perfcap reason constantly in benchmarks and occasionally in games. Is it normal that I cant seem to hit 450watts ? And what can i do ?
