PVC Privacy Fence on Steep Incline
I'm thinking of putting in a PVC privacy fence that would need to run up a steep incline. I don't have the exact angle, but I can at least say it's tough to pay the mower up there.
The first contractor I had out said they can only do chainlink on the hill. They say the rails would be constantly pushing downward and out of the holes, and that the clips that hold the rails in place would be put under too much stress.
They say it could be done, but it wouldn't last, and the cost would be astronomical (due to increased labor and needing longer pickets).
Is this a legit concern, or do they just not want to go to the effort of having to cut the rails and pickets to match the slope?
Anyone else had success in such a scenario?
