Designing a boutique TB5 dock that doesn’t look like a piece of IT equipment. Thoughts?

Frustrated that every Thunderbolt dock on the market is basically just a black plastic box or boring business machine.

I'm working on a different approach. These are just early AI concepts based on my design direction, but the core goals are simple:
• A dock you actually want to display on your desk.
• Same design language/material as the MacBook Pro.
• Charging ports that don't interrupt or reset your setup when you swap cables.

Would love some honest feedback. Is this something you guys would actually want, or should I just give up and buy a CalDigit/Satechi?

Been researching TB5 hubs for a while before pulling the trigger. The TS5 seems like the best option right now (TS5+ is quite expensive and not sure if i need the 10GbE), but I keep seeing mixed comments about PD and thermals.

For those who actually own one:
• How are you handling power when you have multiple high-draw device connected?
• Does it run hot?
• Any workarounds you've had to figure out yourself?

Not looking for "just buy it" — genuinely want to know the rough edges before committing
