I just read the scene where Shallan kills Tyn, and I am confused.

I was surprised but not totally shocked that she can summon a shard blade, I imagine it's connected to people that can use storm light. But she says

"You're alive because of that cursed thing, again"

Again? Isn't this the first time she actually summons the shard blade, let alone use it? Did I miss something?
