I have ordered a Model 3 Premium RWD, but my wife and I are now wondering if we are better with a direct from Tesla used Model Y. We have two young daughters and a German shepherd. With the Y we could fit everybody, but then we have a 4 or 5 year old car instead of the new M3. We have a second car that's a hatchback if we did get the M3, but it's tight. Also worth mentioning both Tesla's would be about the same price and insurance is the same as well. What's everyone's thoughts?

I ordered the Tesla yesterday and I'm just trying to make the math work. The Tesla is better in every way and I can charge at home for free or pretty close to it, low maintenance is nice and having the warranties too, and I know the price has never been better, but my budget conscious brain is in the background saying I can have a used Corolla for more than half the price.

I figured there are people on here with real experience with Tesla's and have gone through the same problem I'm having, so help me out. Over 10 years does the Tesla make more sense or does the Corolla?
