Hey everyone,
I just signed up for and qualified for the BMO World Elite card and it's coming in the mail. Question about the 70k point welcome bonus. The fine print says the welcome bonus is for "eligible approved applicants" yet does not specify what that means or who is "eligible". Has anyone here gotten the World Elite card and *not* been given the 70k point welcome bonus? How would I know if I qualify/don't qualiify? Thanks.
(I understand that you need to spend $5k in the first 110 days for 20k points, $9k in the first 180 days for another 20k points, and $18k in the first 365 days for the final 30k points. I just don't want to spend $18k on this card (I have other cards that give me points for other things) if I end up not being approved for the bonus.)
