This little gentleman, Yuro, needs a hero!

He has been at NYCACC 2 times in 1 month. He was surrendered in February due to housing issues, and this last time he was left abandoned and tied to a pole. He was brought in by police mid-March and is now on the euthanasia list.

Despite it all, Yuro remains wiggly, fun, silly, happy, playful, adoptable, neutered & healthy!

He earned the 2nd best behavior rating at the shelter and loves his treats too.

I know out-of-state foster is available with NYCACC but I’m not sure if out-of-state adoption is available, you’ll have to get in contact with the shelter.

Gelato (3 y/o) is looking for a miracle! He was surrendered in April by his owner for a little nip (no skin was broken). He’s crate-trained, tolerant with strangers and dogs, and loves baths.

He has BOAS and now kennel cough… 🥹

I realize he has a complicated case (as was my rescue dog) but a patient and disciplined owner could be life-changing for the little guy.

I’m not sure if out-of-state adoption is available, but out-of-state foster is!
