I was born in 2003 and I was raised in a city, I grew up around late 90s, 2000s, and early 2010s pop music. Black Eyed Peas, Pitbull, Outkast, etc. I like those artists and their music since I grew up with it, however I've always since as long as I remembered had a keen interest in acoustic instruments. Bagpipes, tagelharpas, lutes, guitars, ritual drums, wooden flutes, etcs, specifically Northern European & Scandinavian instruments, when the movie brave came out I really liked the bagpipes, but not of my classmates did, since then I learned the genre is called "medieval folk music" which is mostly historically accurate music from the 400s to the 1400s, and 7 years ago I found out my Grandma had an entire record set of medieval music. I myself have several songs stored on a youtube list separating themes, time periods, and cultures I'm particularly interested in, and that's why I wonder if someone can be born with a pre-existing taste in music. My archive of medieval, rennesiance, and classical era music outnumbers my archive of music that was played during my childhood by hundreds of songs.
